The Spanish Steps are a set of 138 steps built in 1723-1725 to link the Trinità dei Monti Church with the Spanish square. At the foot of the steps, there is Via dei Condotti, one of the best streets for shopping in Rome. It is a popular meeting place for tourists and residents.
