Siena

Siena is one of the most visited cities in Tuscany, a place extremely rich in churches, monuments, palaces and museums. It has a long history dating back to the Etruscan time, and the historic centre has been declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. Siena is particularly famous for the Palio, a medieval horse race held twice a year in the main square of Siena, Piazza del Campo.
