Juliet’s House

The house and balcony of Juliet is one of the major attractions in Verona. The house belonged to the Cappelletti family and dates back to the 13th century, but the balcony was added only in the 20th century. Shakespeare took inspiration for writing Romeo and Juliet. Though the story has no historical evidence, the courtyard is always full of tourists!
