St. Mathew Cathedral

Situated in the historic centre of Salerno, it is one of the most beautiful churches of Southern Italy and a pilgrim attraction. It was opened in 1081, but the present structure dates back to 1688 when it was restored after an earhquake. Situated in the heart of the old town, the garden was created in the 18th century by a physician of the Medical School of Salerno. San Pietro a Corte
