Verona is one of the most romantic and beautiful Italian cities, a top destination for many tourists. The house and balcony of Juliet is one of the major attractions in Verona. The house belonged to the Cappelletti family and dates back to the 13th century, but the balcony was added only in the 20th century. Shakespeare took inspiration for writing Romeo and Juliet. Though the story has no historical evidence, the courtyard is always full of tourists!
Built at the end of the first century against the hillside, today the theatre is a set of remains that includes the stage, the orchestra and some galleries. The view from the top is wonderful.
It is one of the most picturesque Italian squares that housed the Roman Forum. Today Piazza delle Erbe is an animated market encircled by historic monuments and buildings such as the Lamberti Tower.
