Royal Palace of Turin (Palazzo Reale)

The Royal Palace is the most important palace of the Savoy dynasty and it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It mixes the baroque, rococo and neoclassical styles. In the palace, you will see works of art, tapestries, and furniture of incredible artistic value, besides the impressive library.

This palace got bigger over the years, since every time a first-born got married, the king of the period would build a new wing in the palace.

The Egyptian Museum

Located inside of Palazzo dell’Accademia delle Scienze, this is the second most important museum in the world entirely dedicated to the Egyptian Antiquities. The Egyptian Museum in Turin hosts objects which relate to more than 3,000 years of history of the Egyptian civilization. This wonderful collection is now spread over four levels.

Palazzo Madama

Also located in Piazza Castello, this extravagant and historical building is magnificent. The palace, once served as a defensive fortification, has ornate columns and a balcony decorated with sculptures that are a shining example of the Italian Baroque architecture.

The Castle of Rivoli is the first museum in Italy dedicated to contemporary art. Since the inauguration, the museum presented a series of innovative exhibitions and extraordinary art performances.

The Royal Church of Saint Lawrence (Real Chiesa di San Lorenzo)

The Church of Saint Lawrence is a baroque building and was designed by Guarino Guarini. When you get to the church, you need to look up to appreciate it fully. Saint Lawrence is worldly recognized by its unusual and unique dome and lantern.
