Description

With this tour you will discover the Neapolis Archaeological Park, where the gems of the ancient Greek city and its Roman structures can be seen.

Inside the archaeological park you will find archaeological structures from the 5th century B.C,  a stunning amphitheater, a third century B.C stone altar once used for sacrifices, a second century Roman theater, and a limestone quarry that was used to build the ancient city of Syracuse.

You will also learn about the art of crafting papyrus.

See the unmissable and beautiful natural cave known as the “Ear of Dionysus” and some of the most important modern buildings of  the city.

The access to the Neapolis Archaeological Park and the Tecnoparco is not allowed by bike
