Description
A fully organized two-hour guided tour of the Pompeii archaeological site with a professional Archaeologist/Guide and Skip-the-line Tickets to the Ruins of Pomepii.
Do not miss one of the most important and impressive archaeological sites in the whole world, preserved as it was 2,000 years ago. Make the best out of it with the insight of an Archaeologist in a Small Group.
On August 24th 79 AD a terrifying eruption of the Vesuvius volcano destroyed the city of Pompeii, completely submerged by a flow of lava.
On this 2-hour tour, you will see homes and shops like the House of the Faun: the largest (3000m²) and most beautifully decorated aristocratic house of Pompeii. It was named after a bronze statue of a dancing Faun situated in the atrium.
Other buildings of interest are the Lupanar, (the brothel) and the Termopilium a type of very widespread public establishments that served hot food and drinks.
On top of this you will be absolutely stunned by the Plaster Casts of the victims, humans and animals forever set in their final poses, clothing, and face expressions.
