Description

The guide will lead you along an exclusive itinerary to discover the magnificent treasures of St. Mark’s Cathedral with skip-the-line service.

During the tour you will visit St Mark’s Baptistery and the Zen Chapel, two little-known beautiful places which can be visited only with our thrilling tour and usually inaccessible to everyday visitors of the Basilica.

The tour will continue to St Mark’s Basilica treasury, housed in a tower, in two rooms that are the only remains of the first Doge’s Palace in Venice.

Finally you will see the treasure, considered to be one of the most valuable objects in the world: Pala d’Oro (the Golden Pall).

Important Information

– Dress code: shoulders and knees must be covered to enter churches.
– Wear comfortable shoes, preferably with rubber soles.

Access to the Basilica is only permitted to visitors with suitable attire (no shorts or vest or sleeveless tops) and backpacks are not allowed for safety reasons. The Procuratoria di San Marco reserves the right to prohibit visits and access to the basilica at any time and without notice for reasons of force majeure (e.g. high water) and/or safety reasons. In cases of extra liturgical ceremonies, exceptional high tides or other special occasions, access to St Mark’s Basilica may not be permitted and therefore the tour will not take place.
